Bullfighter Spanish, born January 3, 1952 in Almazora (Castellón). When he was two months old, his family moved to Zaragoza, where grew up, and started in the art of the young Raúl Cúchares, so it has always been considered as one of the most representative of the Aragonese hobby swords.
Early torero, with only fourteen years of age gave their first capotazos in Calanda (Teruel), into the serious part of a comico-musical show – bullfighting. It followed, from then on, fogueando in hard learning the trade, until in August 1968, he managed to release their first suit of frog closures in a celebration for novice held at plaza de Zaragoza, which was catapulted as one of the strongest contenders in the region to achieve the figure of bullfighting. Even so, almost throughout the following campaign was forced to continue advertising in novilladas without itching, which starred in mor

Six bulls bred on the rangelands of Mora Figueroa, were played that evening one of them, subjected to the crutch of Raúl Aranda, desorejado went to the slaughterhouse.
Although this success contributed significantly to consolidate its always threatened novilleril path (which, at the end of 1970, placed him at the top of the ladder of the beginner bullfighters), the hand of adoption did not occur in the first square of the world until March 28, 1971, the date on which alternated with Germán Urueña and the aforementioned Antonio José Galán to measure, between the three, with a closure from the blemish of PÃo Tabernero. The depth and plasticity of sets of coating that enjaretó his opponent first announced the severe fa
ns Madrileña the young Raúl Aranda was in position to take that alternative had already announced to within a couple of months.
He joined, in effect, in the upper ranks of matadors of wild cattle on day 23 of May 1971, when the love of his beloved Aragon region packed the arena of the mana capital to see him do the paseÃllo accompanied by his godfather, the famous sword Jaen Sebastián Palomo MartÃnez (“Palomo Linares”); which, under the watchful eye of coletudo Malaga’s Miguel Márquez MartÃn, who was present as a witness, gave to the excited Raúl Aranda streamer and the steel that had muletear and stock to a bikes from the livestock of the count of the Court. Among the delusions of his countrymen, the toricantano cut an ear to his first enemy and willing to run as the figure of bullfighting that Aragon was seeking, desorejó to the burel which closed square,
so its serious intention to compete from that very first moment by the cimeros of the ladder positions left patent.
But fate crossed immediately in this enthusiastic start of the career of Raúl Aranda as a bullfighter, because within a few months of a Goring in an armpit, struck August 23 in the plaza de Tarragona, caused him to lose several contracts; to make matters worse, soon has been reinstated to the professional circuit a serious liver ailment forced him to cut the season, which ended its first year of alternative with just eighteen runs toreadas. Despite these adversities, the dexterous hand faced the following campaign with determined to recover as soon as possible the time and place lost; and so, on May 15, 1972, in full fair of San Isidro, he returned to merit the adoption of severe Las Ventas fans, after cutting an ear to a bull marked with iron Galache. This good performance in the Colosseum of calle de Alcala led to the incorporation of Raúl Aranda to the lineup of the extraordinary
run of charities that year, which were announced the other two winners of the isidril credit: Francisco Rivera Pérez (“Paquirri”) and Gabriel of the Casa Pazos.
Very punished always by the bulls, the young Aragonese sword returned to be severely gored the day, September 10, 1972, this time in the arena of Barcelona, which again broke off its brilliant rise to top positions of the ladder. Had dress light, that year, twenty-eight times, figure that towered up to thirty-five functions toreadas in the following campaign, while he again suffered two mishaps that deprived him of many contracts (the first in Pamplona, on July 13, and the second in Huesca, August 11). From now on, fate, in the form of violent Goring, reappeared one and again in the career of Raúl Aranda to prevent him from straightening that career that seemed to call to become one of the most dazzling of his generati
on: in August 1974 fell critically wounded in the sands of the Bilbao arena, and not yet fully revived, returned to be wounded by a bull in Logroño on September 22, which had put an end to the campaign of that year with just seventeen completed contracts. Since then, amidst great difficulties but always valued by the public of Madrid and Zaragoza, came while keeping in the intermediate positions of the ladder, with an average of between twenty and thirty performances per year during the second half of the 1970s. In the Decade of the eighties he continued active, but already hit by an undeniable decline manifested in the lack of contracts (thus, v. gr., in 1985 dressed in lights in just eleven times), which was no obstacle for the Honorable dexterous hand to retain an accredited dignity Bullfighter that, among other feats, allowed him to celebrate his twenty years as matador de reses bravas in 1991locking himself alone facing six Bulls at the Zaragoza ring.
